🪣 The Bear (OCD) writes:
“Sometimes my thoughts won’t line up unless the colors do. Tie-dye lets me be in control without being controlling. It’s healing. It’s how I breathe. I make shirts to survive — and maybe to help someone else survive too. If you wear one, you’re wearing part of my calm. That means everything to me.”
🧚♀️ The Fairy Bears (ADHD + Anxiety) say:
“Our brains are… everywhere. All at once. Loud. Shaky. Glittery. Beautiful. But some days it hurts. Making tie-dye is our focus trick — our reset button.
If someone out there is feeling like they’re too much… you’re not. You’re a masterpiece. And hey — buy a hoodie. Help us keep making safe space.”
👻 The Ghost of Tie-Dye Past (Anxiety) shares:
“I once left my cart in the middle of a store and cried in the parking lot. That was just Tuesday. I still have panic attacks. But when I tie-dye, the world gets quiet. Thank you for wearing what I make — even when I feel invisible, that means I still matter.”
🦫 Chainsaw Beaver (Depression) says:
“I’m not the talking type. I build. I buzz. I chain-saw sadness into weird, wonderful stuff.
Every time you buy something I made, it tells my brain, ‘Hey… maybe you did something good today.’ That helps more than you know.”
🦉 The Owl (Bipolar Disorder) writes:
“There are weeks when I don’t sleep. Others when I barely move. But I still show up. And I still swirl. Because even in my chaos, I know people need color. And hope.
So when you support us — you’re not just buying a shirt. You’re saying: ‘I get it.’ And that feels like flying.”
🐿️ The Squirrel (PTSD) shares quietly:
“Noise scares me. Crowds overwhelm me. Memories hit me when I don’t expect them. But in this shop, surrounded by kindness and color — I heal.
I add tags, fluff shirts, sometimes hide under tables. But when someone buys something we made… I peek out and smile.”
🦘 Roo the Rainbow Courier (ADHD) bounces in:
“HELLO! I forgot what I was saying! Oh wait — mental health is cool and support is cooler and I LOVE TIE-DYE and also I packed your shirt! Thanks for supporting us and if you’re feeling overwhelmed — it’s okay. You’re not behind. You’re just in Roo Time.”
🐢 The Tortoise (Recovery) speaks softly:
“I’ve had relapses. I’ve lost friends. But I’ve never lost tie-dye. It’s my ritual, my reminder, my lifeline.
If you’re out there fighting the same fight — stay slow, stay steady, and wear something bright. We made it for you.”
🦔 Porcupine (Autistic) writes methodically:
“I don’t like loud. I don’t like surprises. But I love folding, patterning, and planning color order. Tie-dye lets me do what I’m good at — and feel good about it.
Support helps us keep going. Buy a shirt. Or don’t. But either way, please be kind — to us, to yourself, to everyone.”
